The Fredrix standard "Red Label" is a popular canvas. They are medium weight with a medium texture, double acrylic titanium primed with black, acid free gesso, and are perfect for use with oils or acrylics. Great for urban art, deeper color palettes, night scenes and abstracts.

Red Label canvases are stretched on standard stretcher bars: 1-9/16" wide x 11/16" deep (from wall). All sizes 24" x 36" and larger are single or double cross-braced for added support. Please note: even with cross braces, some twisting is still possible on the larger sizes. Fredrix Heavy Duty Professional Stretched Canvas is guaranteed against twisting on large canvases.
